We have friends who are involved with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), and we have been donors to the annual fund for several years. However, our understanding of food insecurity and the immense need in our community really began to change in 2020.

Matt Filik

In addition to volunteering with his family at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), Certified Financial Planner Matt Filik lends his professional expertise to our Planned Giving Committee. His intimate knowledge of the impact estate planning can have on a non-profit’s mission also encourages him to participate in our Food • Help • Hope Legacy Society with his own planned gift.
